Reading the book The Way of Zen (Adam Watts) I
found this two sentences, simple but full of meaning, at the end of a poem:
If you act with your
mind over your mind, how can you avoid a great confusion?
There is the importance of look into a mirror
not looking with our eyes but with someone else eyes, a coach. If not, our
brain will filter the picture and find the way to show us what we want to see,
not accepting the reality the way it is presented in a mirror, leading us to a
great confusion.
The human brain select the data and give it
sense, even when those have not, and create a version of a picture that become
a false truth, so how can we use our imperfect mind to examine it self?. If we
want to see what we cannot see now, we should start to look in different way
and there the help of a coach acting as a mirror would be the difference
between fail and success. What are you waiting to look yourself in a mirror?
